Dr. Dogan Alantar embarked on his professional journey in 1998 as a finance inspector within the Ministry of Finance. His remarkable trajectory within the ministry led him to assume the role of the Head of the Budget Policy and International Relations Department in 2008. During this tenure, he adeptly managed diplomatic ties with esteemed international entities, including the IMF and the World Bank.
In 2012, Dr. Alantar embarked on a new entrepreneurial chapter, establishing his own firm specializing in audit, taxation, and financial consultancy. With a diverse and extensive portfolio, he has accrued substantial expertise across sectors spanning construction, manufacturing, defense, retail, energy, and exports.
In 2017, Dr. Alantar’s journey led him to A-1 Independent Audit Inc., where he ascended to the position of Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors. Since 2019, he has actively contributed as a member of the Legislation Monitoring and Evaluation Committee within the Chamber of Sworn-in Certified Public Accountants of Ankara.
Dr. Alantar’s academic pursuits culminated in his attainment of a PhD from Başkent University, Ankara, where he delved into the intriguing realm of “Intellectual Capital and Company Performance in the Technology Sector.” His passion for education endures, as he continues to impart knowledge through teaching accounting courses at his alma mater.
Furthermore, Dr. Alantar has left an indelible mark in the realm of academia through numerous publications. His prolific works predominantly cover subjects as varied as the global financial crisis, budgetary matters, mortgages, taxation, and hedge funds.
